FAQs

How old should the child be?

My personal recommendation is an age of five years or older. From this age children are usually able to engage well with the creative process.

Can I paint together with more than one child?

The experience is intentionally designed for one child per adult, creating a special moment where you can fully focus on your child.

A second child is of course very welcome. From experience, each child usually wants to create their own artwork, so I recommend that each child has their own canvas, allowing you to guide and support each one individually.

It is also possible to paint together with three children. In this case, I kindly ask you to reach out in advance so we can discuss which format and setup would work best for you.

What happens in case of illness?

If you become ill, you can of course reschedule the appointment. Please just let me know as early as possible so we can find a new date together.

What should we wear?

Comfortable clothing is recommended. In the studio you will receive protective clothing so you can paint freely and without worry. However, it can still happen that some paint gets on your clothes.

Feel free to message me. I’ll be happy to advise you personally and find a suitable date for you and your family.

Process

This experience lasts about 2 hours and is designed as a special time between parent and child. While painting together you create not only a painting but also meaningful time with each other.

1. Arrival – approx. 5 minutes
You arrive calmly at the studio and take a moment to settle in. To welcome you there will be coffee tea or a refreshing drink. I will give you a short introduction and show you the materials. Before we begin you will receive protective clothing so you can paint freely and without worry. We then take a moment to arrive and create a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere.

2. Creating your color palette – approx. 15 minutes
Together we choose a color palette that will form the foundation of your artwork. I will show you a few simple techniques that you can try and that will support you during the painting process.

3. Intuitive painting – approx. 90 minutes
Now the free creative part begins. You paint freely with colors brushes and even your hands on the canvas. Everything is allowed: splashing layering movement and experimentation. I accompany you throughout the process and offer small impulses if you wish.

4. Closing moment – approx. 10 minutes
At the end we take time to look at the artwork you created together. After the drying time you can pick up your canvas the next day and take it home.

Why I offer this experience

As an artist I spend a lot of time in my studio. As a mother I know how precious the moments with our children truly are. The most beautiful memories are often created in the simplest moments. When we try something new together when we laugh and when we become completely absorbed in what we are doing. While painting with my children I realized how special this time is. Children are free. They do not think about whether something is “good” or “right”. They simply follow their joy. This is exactly the kind of freedom I would love to offer to other families as well.

About my art

Our surroundings shape us more than we often realize. They influence how we feel how we think how we speak and even who we become. The spaces we live in quietly affect our behavior our mood and our sense of self.

With my background in design and my deep exploration of how spaces influence us I understand how powerful artworks can be within a room. A painting can become an anchor. It sets the tone gives orientation and creates identity. Sometimes a single artwork is enough to change the entire feeling of a space. It can create a sense of arrival because it touches something within us and gives the room its soul.

Through my work I help people create spaces that reflect who they are strengthen their sense of self and inspire them every day.
